Hello Backers!
We are here again to remind you to complete the Pledge Manager survey. There are still more than 1150 backers who have not completed the survey, including more than 450 backers that have more than $80 credit.

It would really help us if you could complete your Pledge Manager surveys and finalise your pledge. We want to focus on the last few steps of completing the game, not on worrying about backers that have paid but not completed their surveys.

Complete Your Pledges

Hello Backers!
Sorry we have been quiet. We are finalising the cards before they can be submitted for printing and it’s a great deal of careful, painstaking work. On the plus side, it is coming along very well.
The main reason for this update is to remind those of you who have not completed your pledges to do so. The Pledge Manager will be open until 1st May, but we are concerned that 1,300 backers have not completed the BackerKit survey and confirmed their pledges.

A small number of you have contacted us about one of the Pledge Manager issues. Because the base shipping fees are charged to everyone, backers that want just a few minis, for example a cross over mini, are being overcharged. We have a simple, manual solution for those backers:
- Select the minis you want, but do not confirm the pledge.
- Mail us at [email protected], with a subject of “Shipping Quote”.
- We will look at your pledge and location and reply with the correct shipping quote.
- If this shipping is reasonable, confirm your pledge and pay the extra shipping.
- If you do not change your pledge after requesting the quote, we will refund the difference.
We are still working on the other problem, allowing $1 backers to simply close their pledge, but BackerKit can help you now. Contact them directly at https://vampire-hunters-0.backerkit.com/faq#contact-us and say you do not want any reward and want to be removed from the project. They will delete your pledge from the database and you will no longer get reminders.
We need to get back to work on the cards. Hopefully we will be able to show you the results in the next update.

Marku Unlocked!

Hello Backers!
Here’s the news you have been waiting for. We have had a great response from late backers in BackerKit and Marku, our final stretch goal, has been unlocked! This mini will be included in all Hunter and Slayer pledges, automatically. You do not need to make any adjustments in the Pledge Manager.
Almost half of you have completed your Pledge Manager surveys. Thank you! If you have not received your invite yet, now would be a good time to recheck your spam folders and then contact us. Remember, if you backed via Kickstarter, the invite was sent to your Kickstarter e-mail and if you were a late backer that paid via PayPal, it went to your PayPal e-mail. Contact us at [email protected] about not getting the invitation e-mail.
We are working with BackerKit on solutions for two problems in the Pledge Manager. The basic shipping charge for the Hunter Package is included in all pledges at the moment. So $1 backers that just want to get one crossover mini, or $1 backers that want to close their accounts with no rewards, are seeing this charge. We will address this, for sure. We already have a few options, and we are trying to pick the best solution.

Pledge Manager Opens

Hello Backers!
Today marks another important milestone: the Pledge Manager will open today! You should start to see your invitation e-mails any time now.
For Kickstarter backers, mail will be sent to the e-mail address that is associated with your Kickstarter account. For late backers, it will go the e-mail address linked to your PayPal account. You might need to check your spam or junk folders, as these kinds of mass mail outs are often flagged as spam. We recommend that you wait 5 days until you contact us at [email protected] about not getting the invitation e-mail. Sometimes they are sent in batches.
There is a “Contact Us” button inside BackerKit if you run into trouble once you log in. Please take a look at the recent tutorials if you are having difficulty, they might help you out. The Pledge Manager will be open until 1st May. We hope that gives you all time to make your final selections. Please try to complete your pledge by this date, as the closing date is close to when we start manufacturing. We will send a few reminders, don’t worry.
We will continue to accept late backers in the Pledge Manager. Other options for late backing are closed. If you have friends that want to get in, you can give them this URL (it will not be active until the PM opens later today).

Pledge Manager Tutorial 3

Hello Backers!
This is the third and final part of the Pledge Manager guides. This one is for backers that do not have a Pledge yet, for example $1 backers. The next time you hear from us about the Pledge Manager, it will be the “Going Live” announcement. We still do not have the results of BackerKit’s review, but we expect to get it early next week.

No Pledge Selected Guide
This information is only useful to backers that have not selected a reward yet. This includes $1 backers and a few other special cases. You will also need to read the General Guide, for some basic information.
Important: The only pledge you can switch to is the regular $135 Slayer Pledge. If you want that one, it’s easy, just use the “switch pledge level” button. You can still upgrade to a $90 Hunter Pledge, but do not use the “switch pledge level” button.
1) At the welcome screen you can select your region. This enables the survey to show shipping costs before you enter your full address at the end. You must select the correct region at this point.
2) Do you want a $90 Hunter Pledge? If so, skip step 2. Just move on to (3) and the rest of the tutorial.
Do you want to switch to a $135 Slayer Pledge? If you do, use the “switch your pledge level” button and select the Slayer Pledge. You are past the hard part! You will move straight on to Add-Ons when you click “Get Started”.
3) Press “Get Started” to move on. If you want the Hunter Pledge, you do it on the next screen.
If you did not switch to a Slayer Pledge, the Pledge Manager will ask you if you want to upgrade to a Hunter Pledge on the next screen. If you upgraded to Slayer, you will not see this screen.
1) Here you have two options, either to upgrade to Hunter or not. If you click on the upgrade option, you will see the selection update in the top right corner.
2) Click the “Next: Add-ons” button to move on.
At this point, you will see the normal Add-on screen. The region on the top right will show you which Pledge you have. You can follow the General Guide to select Add-ons, etc.

The tutorial is over, but we can anticipate a couple of questions.
Is this a real Hunter or Slayer Pledge? Do I get the exclusive minis? You get all the rewards you would expect, including any KS exclusives and Slayer exclusives if you go to that level.
Why isn’t the Hunter upgrade price $90 in your picture? This test backer had a $1 pledge and already paid $1.
What happens if I make a mistake? We will do our best to help out, but we cannot make any guarantees. This will be our busiest time, as we will be finalising many of the product components. Be aware, we might not be able to fix your problem and we might not be able to fix it in time for regular fulfillment – you will be responsible for any additional charges.
