Hello Hunters!
Yesterday, we replied to every open issue mailed to us at [email protected]. If you mailed us with an issue, you should know that we are working on it. We apologize if your issue is taking too long to address and we are trying to rectify the situation. Perhaps a little black magic will help get this done.
We had a conference call to discuss the open issues to see if we can find an alternative solution for some backers/some regions, for example, those locations where we are having trouble getting the hub to respond as quickly as we would like. Basically, we will get the stock back from these hubs, and resolve backer problems ourselves. We are contacting the other hubs to see if we can get them to move on open issues in their areas, and if this looks like it might not work, we will take control for those regions too and resolve those issues directly. Obviously, this will be more work for us, but it seems necessary.
We love to hear about backers playing our game and we recently came across this wonderful game session and review. Michael at Bits Of Board went the extra mile to create this video and we really enjoyed watching it. Their channel deserves more subscribers! Please take a look, it’s a lot of fun:

Spiel was a superb event. It was great to talk to other game designers and even better to talk to our backers. Looking to the future, we demonstrated our new game, Dark Rituals: Malleus Maleficarum and the feedback was really positive, both for the game play and the minis. We can’t wait to show you more than these few pictures.

Finally, we are really happy to announce a crossover between The Order of Vampire Hunters and Wild Assent - Survive the Arena and Tame the Wilds. They will be sculpting Daniel Stoica as part of their game.
Wild Assent is a 1-4 player miniatures board game with player-versus-player and solo/cooperative modes. Battle your opponents in the gladiatorial arenas of the Silvestrem in Wild Assent’s skirmish-style Arena mode. Hunt the dangerous creatures of the Wilds, by yourself or with friends, fighting not just for survival, but to keep your expedition alive in the campaign-based Hunt mode.
Regardless of the mode you choose, Wild Assent offers tactical and entertaining combat combined with strategic and interesting decisions to make before the miniatures even hit the board.

French Translation, Fulfillment and Essen

We have received a good French translation, which has been approved by a small handful of French backers. We really appreciate their quick responses when we asked them to take a look at the new PDF. We have made the translation available on our website and you can download it with this URL:

We’d also like to thank Julien Dubots at Meeple Rules for the fine work he did on this version of the rulebook for us.
We are very close to completion for fulfillment. There are a few outstanding problems that have recently been brought to our attention, which we expect to have resolved soon. If you have a problem with your game, please contact us as soon as possible at the support email address:

We can only resolve problems that are mailed to us at this address. We will continue to resolve problems for as long as we have stock. Once stock runs out, you may have to wait for reprints before we can help you, so please contact us soon if there is a problem.

Now that we are confident that we are very near the end of fulfillment, we will be selling the Order of Vampire Hunters at the event. At the moment, we do not know exactly what we will bring, but if you are missing an expansion, you might get lucky (we are looking for an easy way to sell OVH on web and hope to announce that soon).
Another good reason to visit our booth will be to play the demo of Dark Rituals: Malleus Maleficarum, our next great Kickstarter project. We expect to launch the project in early 2019.

French Translation Issue

Hello Hunters!
We clearly have a problem with the current French translation and we have removed it from our web site while we investigate and fix the situation. We will provide you with a better French translation as soon as we can.
Here is all the information we have at the moment. The translation was done by a professional translation service. We do not have French language skills in-house and we were too trusting in their work, we should have reviewed it more carefully before we posted it. We have contacted our translators, and they agree they can do better.
Going forwards, what can be done?
1) The translation service has assigned a new translator to the project. We have had very little time to discuss this issue with them, but we will contact them next week to make sure this work is done as a priority and that a third translator reviews the document before they send it to us. We will ask for an estimated timeline and report this to you as soon as we have it.
2) We will send this new version to a small number of French backers for review before posting it, if some of you volunteer to inspect the new version. If you are able and interested in reviewing the next version quickly, please contact us at:
Finally, we have learned a valuable lesson that we need to be more careful inspecting material before we publish it. We regret this incident, but it will make us better in the future.
