Shipping Continues

Hello Hunters!
This is a short update to give you the latest information about shipping. Games are closer to getting to backers and some are already on the last part of their journey! We understand that waiting for shipping is the hardest part of this process but the good news is that there have been no problems since the last update. The process is inching along.
Here is a breakdown by region:
EU and RoW: GamesQuest were picking and packing last week and have started shipping to backers. GamesQuest have told us the order in which they are processing the orders: for each region, they are packing and sending orders with the highest number of picks first. They will start with the EU, and then move on to the UK. Around 100 orders have already left and the remaining are expected to be complete by the end of this week. RoW will follow after that.
Australia and NZ: No news since the previous update.
USA and Canada: The CONTI CORTESIA/004E with the stretch goals and add-ons from China arrived on time in the US and has finished unloading. The pallets are currently in customs. We are in contact with Quartermaster and will get an update when they receive them. However, the arrival of core games will determine when shipping starts. The S/S MCS Kleven with the core games from Germany has been loaded and left on time. It should be arriving in the US around February 24th. We don’t have firm dates yet for Quartermaster as timing depends partly on how long customs clearance takes.
We are in regular contact with the fulfillment company and, as always, will update you once we have dates and more solid information.

More Shipping Info

Hello Hunters!
This is a short update to give you the latest information about shipping. Boxes are definitely on the move, and are at the regional hub in one case!
Here is a breakdown by region:
EU and RoW. Games left Ludo Pakt late last week and have arrived safely at Games Quest. As you can see from the pictures, that’s a lot of well packed and wrapped boxes on skids! There are organizational tasks to complete before Games Quest can start shipping to backers so we expect it to be at least 10 business days before they can start shipping. They will send tracking information.
Australia and NZ. We have confirmation that games left Ludo Pakt late last week but, as yet, do not have firm dates for Aetherworks. Timing depends partly on how long customs clearance takes.
USA and Canada. Bad news: there was a problem with the container with the core games so unfortunately there is a delay with the core games for the US. They will be leaving Europe on February 2nd. This is frustrating, but we have all made mistakes at some time in our lives. Ludofact have been great to work with on this project and have been helpful moving our manufacturing window; now it’s our turn to be gracious with Ludo Pakt. Anyway, we have confirmed that our pallets are now booked onto a ship.
The ship name is the S/S MCS Kleven and it should be arriving in the US around February 24th. We don’t have firm dates yet for Quartermaster as timing depends partly on how long customs clearance takes.

Hello Hunters!
Let us start by wishing you a Happy New Year! We hope you all enjoyed your holidays.
We’ll start with shipping, but we are afraid it is not great news. As you know we are using a professional fulfillment service to organise deliveries across the world. Although this is better than us trying to do the work ourselves, it makes communication hard sometimes. Combine the holidays, information coming from the shippers to the fulfillment company, and then from them to us, it can be tricky. All we can do is tell you what we know at the moment.
Ludofact still have our core games in Germany. We do not know why, but we are sure there are no problems for us to fix, such as outstanding approvals or payments. Ludofact is closed until Jan 8th, and we will try to contact them as soon as they open. Believe us, this is as frustrating for us as it is for you.
Add-ons and Stretch Goal boxes have left China for US/Canada. Estimated arrival in the US is Jan 29th. The ship name is CONTI CORTESIA / 004E.
We have no additional information for the ROW.
We are still working! There are some digital deliverables that we want to have ready as soon as possible. We have started on the Custom Map Editor and it is going smoothly. Here is a sample image generated with the tool that you can compare to Hunt 4 in the Core Rule Book. We think it looks great, it’s hard to tell the difference.
Blank cards for you to customise are already complete. We will release the map editor and cards in one package with a small set of instructions soon.

We have rough drafts of the PDF Hunts, for Nyx and Rat. They only need final edits and layout, which we expect to be done soon.
Translation is also proceeding, some languages faster than others. Spanish is most advanced and it is already being laid out graphically. Now that the holidays are over, we will gather information from all the different teams working on this part of the project and make a dedicated update soon. Remember, translations are being delivered as PDFs and are limited to the rulebook (with Hunt definitions) only.

Pledge Manager will Lock for Shipping Soon

Hello Backers!
As we suggested in the last few updates, we will lock the Pledge Manager completely on Saturday, 9th December, 6:00 P.M. EST. At that point you will not be able to change your delivery address. If you need to change your address, change it now.
We have more fulfillment information, but it is not quite as detailed as we hoped. We will continue to update you as more information comes in.
EU and ROW
Fulfillment will be handled by Games Quest. We expect this to start in December. They will send tracking information.
USA and Canada
Fulfillment will be handled by Quartermaster. We expect this to start in January/February, depending on how long customs clearance takes. They will send tracking information.
Australia and NZ
Fulfillment will be handled by Aetherworks. We expect this to start in January/February, depending on how long customs clearance takes. They are still checking if they will send tracking information, but we expect this to be the case.
As we get a little closer to the transport vessels being loaded, we will try to get you the ship names.

Production Is Complete

Hello Backers!
This is a short update to let you know that all production is complete! This is obviously a major milestone and applies to the core game and all expansions. Final printing and assembly was done in Germany, so the boxes are already in Europe.
What happens when you repeatedly process boxes one at a time? You end up with an impressive wall of boxes!
There are two general options for fulfillment:
- Delay some shipments, so that all backers get their rewards at roughly the same time.
- Proceed as quickly as possible in all regions.
We are using the second method - we will not be adding artificial delays. In our observation of other Kickstarters, this is hard to judge accurately and so it rarely works. Also, we do want you to have your rewards as soon as you can.
Since the boxes are in Europe already, the European backers will almost certainly be seeing their rewards very soon. Unfortunately, because we are moving as fast as we can, we do not have solid information for all regions yet. We want to be a little more confident in all the information before we share any of it.
Once again, let us remind you to update your address in BackerKit if you need to. Do it now. The packages are coming! We will update you just before we lock the addresses in BackerKit, but we will do this very soon.
